wow..

so is this blog boring or what?

sorry!!

well we have had some news..

i bet those of you who live in utah heard about the fire in corner canyon? well that is us. it was on the mountain right by our house!! (well it still is, but we're not "in danger" anymore) Yesterday our school started smelling like smoke and when we got home the road to our house was blocked off and so our bus's (?) couldn't take us to our stops. so they let us off to walk home. (it was still pretty far) and i see the elementary bus and get my brothers, who are almost in tears, off the bus. the first thing ethan asked me is "al is our house gonna get on fire??" haha well we walked until our mom could pick us up and went home.

For a while there was 0% containment and it burned over 900 acres. all of our neighbors and all of my ward got evacuated except for our little neighborhood. (and we're wondering why we didnt, but its a good thing.)

Our house still reeks with smoke and it was pretty scary at the time, but we're all fine now!

The mountain is really ugly and black though. :(

i took this right outside but there was loads of smoke! at one point i couldnt even see up the street!
